Fanad and Rosguill Peninsula host a number of beautiful sites, off the beaten track and on a good day (often not experienced in Ireland) a visual extravaganza. The beauty of these places is that they are for the most part, unknown by the vast majority of visitors to the area, places that even on the best days of the year are infrequently visited by anyone at all. Often it is only locals that know about access or the right height of the tide that will make the area accessible. It is this that makes them a wonderful treasure trove for the explorer.
